We believe in a future where our sustainability initiatives support our business resilience. So, we are striving to always make responsible choices in how we operate. Our care in action focuses on two priority areas: energy & waste, and health & prosperity.

Energy & Waste

We are transforming our operations in response to the climate crisis and Indonesia’s green economy vision. Our strategy focuses on transitioning to renewable energy, integrating smart technology for operational efficiency, and embedding circularity into our value chain.

Clean & Renewable Energy:

We are progressively transitioning our operational processes toward a greener energy ecosystem. By adopting renewable sources, such as Solar Power Plants (PLTS) across seven of our major facilities, we are actively decarbonizing our footprint and supporting the national energy transition.

Smart Optimization:

Operational excellence is at the heart of our manufacturing process. We are investing in real-time automation from our production lines to our wastewater treatment plants, where we dynamically adjust aeration processes. This ensures every resource is used with maximum precision—preventing energy waste in high-intensity blowers and reducing indirect carbon emissions while protecting local water ecosystems.

Prioritizing Circular Economy:

Our ambition is to move beyond the 'take-make-waste' model toward a circular one. We are rethinking byproducts and packaging to keep materials in their longest productive lifespan. For example, we convert shell ash byproducts into functional building materials for our facilities and transform leftover tea leaves into recycled home goods.

Health & Prosperity

We are dedicated to supporting health, well-being, and community growth. Through initiatives in nutrition, hygiene, and education, we aim to help people live better and thrive together.

Health & Well-being:

We believe that health is the foundation of a thriving society. By integrating education with accessibility, we help families and the next generation make informed choices for a healthier daily life. This is a key focus for our oral care and dairy brands, where we leverage our expertise to ensure essential health knowledge and nutrition reach vulnerable children and the wider community.

Community Prosperity & Social Responsibility

We recognize our responsibility to stand with our communities, especially during times of crisis. Therefore, we build Yayasan OT Group Peduli (OT Peduli), the official foundation of OT Group that is dedicated to foster social well-being of the marginalized groups and disaster-affected regions.

OT Peduli initiatives focus on three strategic areas where we can deliver the most meaningful shared value:

Nurturing Vulnerable Communities: Providing ongoing contributions for basic necessities, educational scholarships, and health services to orphanages, nursing homes, and elderly care facilities.
Rapid Disaster Relief: Standing ready to offer immediate aid and support to victims of natural disasters, helping communities navigate crises and rise stronger.
Empowering the Marginalized: Extending a helping hand to the homeless and those in poverty to provide pathways toward a more stable life.
